KL Rahul, Kuldeep ruled out of T20I series, Rishabh to lead Team India

The t20 series between India & South Africa is set to start from Thursday. Just one day before the commencement of series, India’s captain Kl Rahul got ruled out the series due to right groin injury.

Kl Rahul was going to captain Indian for the first time in an ODI series but unfortunately he will have to remain out of the series. KL Rahul did a fabulous job as a captain in IPL 2022. He led Lucknow Super giants in Eliminator. Apart from batting brilliantly, he took some really brave decisions, managed his new team wonderfully and his bowling changes were perfect.

As KL Rahul is injured, Vice Captain Rishabh has been announced the new captain for the series. Rishabh Pant is going to make his captaincy debut tomorrow. Rishabh Pant has already shown his captaincy skills when he brought Delhi capitals in the qualifier of IPL 2022. Moreover he did a good job in IPL 2022 too. Delhi capitals won 7 matches this season however they couldn’t qualify for playoffs.

Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya who made Gujarat franchise champion in their first ever tournament has been announced as the vice captain for the series. Hardik Pandya is returning in blue jersey after 7 months.

Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav who was Delhi Capitals’ highest wicket-taker and was set to play first t20 against South Africa is also ruled out the series due to an injury occurred during practice session.
